Katherine Wildman is a Boston-based interdisciplinary artist. She received her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in 2019 and has exhibited works at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Wilson Museum at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Fountain Street Gallery, Beacon Gallery, and Gallery 263. She has attended residencies at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont and Pilotenkueche in Leipzig, Germany. She was awarded a Boston’s Artist Career Development Grant in 2020, named a Polly Thayer Starr Visiting Artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in 2023, and an artist in residence at the Boston Center for the Arts Studio Residency from 2021-2024.

Her work centers on conjuring otherworldly beings from hidden dimensions, re-envisioning dreams, speaking with flowers and carving stones. Her process is deeply material and experimental and includes sculpture, drawing, printmaking and fibers.
