Desmond Reed is the Transfer Admissions Coordinator at MassArt, helping prospective transfer students navigate the application process with clarity and creativity. Fueled by a genuine enthusiasm for people and art, he brings an approachable, student-first energy to every conversation.

Outside the office, Desmond is a graphic novelist and the author of The Cola Pop Creemees: Opening Act (Birdcage Bottom Books, 2023) and The Horrors of Being a Human (Microcosm Publishing, 2025).

Once a transfer student himself, Desmond’s creative practice shapes how he sees the world – celebrating artistic growth, individuality, and the many unique paths students take on their creative journeys.
