Visiting Campus

All visitors are required to check in and check out at the College’s main entrance at the Design and Media Center or the neighboring Kennedy Building. Visitors from the Colleges of the Fenway and ProArts Consortium schools are required to show security guards their college IDs upon entry. Guests of current students are permitted to enter residence halls. All of our dining facilities are open to the general public and provide a speedy and convenient option for grabbing a bite while on campus.

Building Hours

Monday through Sunday, 7:00am – 12:00am

During holidays, administrative offices are closed and there are no classes in session (except for some exceptions for students enrolled in Professional and Continuing Education programming). Studio access for current students remains available from 7:00am-12:00am.

When the college is closed, there is no building or studio access. View the Academic Calendar for a list of holidays and closure dates.

College Closures due to Weather Emergencies

College Closures will also be announced via MassArt’s Instagram as well as on massart.edu. MassArt uses Rave, an emergency management notification system to announce campus closures to the campus community due to inclement weather or an emergency.
