Vaccine Requirements

For international students, the information in the tables below is up-to-date as of 08.03.21. We continue to follow closely the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the City of Boston, and will plan and respond if that guidance changes. While subject to developments with COVID variants or other factors, we are sharing the information below as you plan for your departure to the U.S. and as the college resumes access to campus.

Am I required to provide proof of my vaccination by uploading it to CastleBranch by August 6, 2021? YES
Am I required to take and show proof of a negative COVID test before departing my home country? YES
Am I required to take and show proof of a negative a COVID test upon arrival in the U.S.? YES

If I live on-campus, will I be able to get a COVID test at MassArt the day I move into my residence hall?

YES
If I live off-campus, will I be able to get a COVID test at MassArt the first day I come to campus? YES
Am I required to quarantine upon arrival in the U.S.? NO
Can I move into my on-campus housing assignment on move-in day (August 29, 2021 for new students, or your assigned move-in date for returning students)? YES
Am I required to wear a mask in my residence hall? NO
Am I required to follow all masking/social distances rules outside of my room? YES
Can I access all campus facilities, including academic facilities, the cafeteria, and residence halls, from the day I arrive, while following all masking and social distancing rules? YES
Can I start my in-person classes from the first day of the semester? YES
