Rashid Rana is a world renowned visual artist who has been called "the most important Pakistani artist of his generation" by the Hindustan Times. Rana first trained as a painter at the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan and continued his studies at MassArt. After graduating in 1994, he went on to become an Associate Professor at the School of Visual Arts and Design at Beaconhouse National University in Lahore. Rana's work has been displayed in Paris, London, Japan, Islamabad, and many other cities around the world.
