A polyglot with a passion for art and architecture, Roberto Shimizu has lived and worked around the world. A trained architect, he was chosen to represent Mexico in the International Architecture Exhibition at the 2006 Venice Biennale. Deeply interested in contemporary muralism, he curated an exhibition on the topic at the Museo Anahuacalli and has collaborated with renowned urban artists to create large-scale murals at key points throughout Mexico City. Shimizu is also the founder of the largest street art festival in the country and is the Creative Director of The Antique Toy Museum of Mexico.
