Tel Aviv-based graphic artist and experimental typographer Oded Ezer is known for blending visual qualities from the natural world with the forms of Latin and Hebrew letters. Beyond his design studio work, his artistic practice spans from typographic design fiction projects and videos to innovative artworks that combine fonts and sculpture. In his unique projects, the emotional and symbolic associations of letters are probed and expanded.
This talk is presented in collaboration with MassArt's Graphic Design Department, the Consulate General of Israel to New England, and the Boston Society of Architects, where his work is on display in StereoType: New Directions in Typography.
