Project goals: to alter the brain-wave state of participants

Not everyone knows how to truly relax. Deeper levels of well-being are only understood through experience, and this installation aspires to entrain the brain into a deep state of relaxation, similar to the brain wave state present during deep sleep (theta). By harnessing the science of binaural beats (sonic) and photic stimulation (aural), both eyes and ears are exposed to stimuli designed to ease the brain into an altered state.
