Bio: 

Stuart Diamond was born in Brooklyn, USA and is best known for large-scale painted assemblages he calls 'constructs.' Mr. Diamond has exhibited in the U.K., France and Germany and was included in the inaugural Sunshine Museum international exhibition in Beijing, China in 2008. He has had 11 solo shows in the United States, and is represented in museums including MoMA, New York and MoCA, Chicago. Corinne Robins features his work in Chapter 7 of The Pluralist Era: American Art 1968 – 1981. In 1977 he co-organized the landmark "Whitney Counterweight" and in 1978 the "Constructs: 55 Artists" shows. Mr. Diamond is the recipient of two NEA grants and a Guggenheim Travelling Scholarship. He received his BFA from Pratt Institute and is Professor of Painting at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
