Youth Programs

All MassArt Youth Programs will be offered virtually through Spring 2022.
Summer 2022 Youth Programs will be offered in both formats: Virtual and On Campus.

MassArt believes in the importance of a quality arts education beginning in elementary school. We offer affordable, diverse programs for students in grades 3-12 that give students the ability to access the power of the arts for their future success.

Artward Bound >

Artward Bound's mission is simple: bring local voices of color to the forefront of the art industry. Since its start in 2011, Artward Bound has provided Boston students with access to the arts and an enriching pathway to college and beyond through 100% free year-round programming.

Program Information


Generous support from the Civil Society Institute contribute to the available financial aid for students in need of assistance.

Scholarships are based on financial need and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to request a scholarship. To be considered, you will be asked to provide family financial information on the registration form (required).

If the scholarship amount awarded does not meet your financial needs and you do not plan to accept the award, please notify us in writing by emailing no later than 21 days (three weeks) prior to the start of the program.


Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our scholarship fund today. Your generous support enables over 140 young artists and art-lovers who may not otherwise have access to the arts to participate in our programs each year.

Cancellation Policy

MassArt reserves the right to cancel courses in the event of an insufficient number of registrations. Students will receive a full refund in the event that a course is cancelled for this reason. Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled at least two weeks before the start of the program.

Full program fee will be refunded if the request to cancel registration is received in writing to one week prior to the start date of the program. Students who fail to notify MassArt Youth Programs of their registration cancellation prior to one week before the start of the program will not be eligible for a refund.

Drop-off & Pick-up Policy*

*Applicable for on-campus programs only 

Included in their orientation packet, parents/guardians will receive additional information about parking, drop-off and pick-up procedures, a map of campus, driving directions, and a pick-up authorization form for students under 12 (if applicable).

Students under 12 will be released only to authorized individuals listed on the pick-up authorization form. Parents/guardians must provide a list of authorized individuals on the online registration form.

Students 12 years and older are dismissed directly from their classroom at the end of each class.
