Program Information

Scholarships

Generous support from the Civil Society Institute and the NEA contribute to the available financial aid for students in need of assistance.

Scholarships are based on financial need and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to request a scholarship. To be considered, you will be asked to provide family financial information on the registration form (required).

If the scholarship amount awarded does not meet your financial needs and you do not plan to accept the award, you must notify us in writing or you will forfeit your deposit. Deadlines for notification are ten days prior to the program start date.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Full program cost, less the deposit, will be refunded if the request to drop is received in writing to the k12@massart.edu email one week* prior to the start of the program. If the request to cancel is received after this date, you will be responsible for the balance due. MassArt reserves the right to cancel courses in the event of an insufficient number of registrations. You will receive a full refund in the event that a course is cancelled for this reason.

*One month for Pre-College Summer Studios

Drop-off & Pick-up Policy

Included in their orientation packet, parents/guardians will receive additional information about parking, drop-off and pick-up procedures, a map of campus, driving directions, and a pick-up authorization form for students under 12 (if applicable).

Students under 12 will be released only to authorized individuals listed on the pick-up authorization form. Parents/guardians must provide a list of authorized individuals on the online registration form.

Students 12 years and older are dismissed directly from their classroom at the end of each class.
