Student Employment in the Community

CACP employs students to be productive citizen artists and designers whose work has positive impact in society.  Students work with community organizations as teachers, designers, curators, and more!  Monthly gatherings of all CACP-employed students provide opportunities to build relationships, explore complex social issues, and celebrate the opportunities and challenges of community-engaged work.

Working with CACP opened my worldview: I learned the great potential for art as a social and political tool, the nitty-gritty ways that my BFA can be put to use in the real world, and realized that my education does not end in the classroom or at commencement--that is only the start of learning. - Pippa Adam '16 BFA Sculpture
