We look forward to seeing you soon!
Campus Tours and Portfolio Reviews
Campus tours include an information session led by an admissions counselor and a facilities tour led by students. Learn more and register.
Portfolio reviews are conducted in the admissions office by appointment during business hours. Reviews are informal and have no bearing on the admission decisions. Students are encouraged to bring original work whenever possible. Sketchbooks, work-in-progress, and work saved digitally are also acceptable for review. Transfer students are encouraged to bring a copy of their college transcript.
Please note that portfolio reviews for students applying for Fall 2018 are limited as the deadline approaches. Generally, we do not schedule portfolio reviews for high school seniors beyond December 1. Instead, we encourage you to apply and contact us with any questions. Portfolio reviews for younger propsective students and pontential transfers are scheduled year-round. Transfer students should bring a copy of their college transcript(s) to the review.
To schedule a portfolio review, please call 617.879.7222.
National Portfolio Days
Visit a representative from MassArt at select National Portfolio Days throughout the country. National Portfolio Day is an event specifically for visual artists and designers. It is an opportunity for those who wish to pursue an education in the visual and related arts to meet with representatives from colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). Representatives will be available to review your artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in art. High school students, parents, teachers, guidance counselors and college transfer students are encouraged to attend. Free and open to the public; no registration necessary.
The schedule for 2018-19 events will be posted in early September; please check back.
