"Quarantine Dress Up" is an online dress up game where players dress an avatar for a day in the life of quarantine. The game is coded in Java using the integrated development environment Processing. The work is a reflection on the mundane in these unprecedented times while also reflecting the disparity in different people's experiences of quarantine. The game is self-critical of the reality it presents, emphasized by the inclusion of the misguided and tone-deaf celebrity sing-along version of the John Lennon song “Imagine”. The soundtrack shifts the work to be critical of this reality, and the avatar’s/artist's positionality.
