3 Artists Chosen to 'Make a Thing' to Perk Up Hartford Landscape

Julie Chen '12 BFA SIM has been chosen by Hartford Business Improvement District for their "Make a Thing" placemaking competition. Chen and two other artists were selected from 75 applicants. Chen will build a huge, red heart-shaped "Heartford" swing big enough for two adults. "Heartford" and the other projects are slated to be installed in summer 2021.
