Interview process

MassArt is committed to preparing the next generation of great artists, designers and educators. Our faculty and staff play an essential role in achieving our mission; which is why finding talented, hard working people to work with us is a top priority. To facilitate this, applicants are entered into a search process that helps us get to know you and match your interests and skills with the right opportunities.

Our search process:

  • All applicants apply online through our database
  • A search committee reviews applications
  • Candidates are prescreened by telephone or Skype
  • Selected candidates are invited to interview on campus
  • Reference checks and a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) are completed
  • An offer of employment is extended to the finalist
