The Inauguration of Dr. Mary K. Grant
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Inauguration of Dr. Mary K. Grant as the 13th President of Massachusetts College of Art and Design on January 20, 2023. We are thrilled to have you join us as we kick off the year-long celebration of our 150th Anniversary.
Masks will be required for all attendees. Due to the current public health landscape of high COVID community levels and other respiratory illnesses, the CDC recommends all individuals wear masks indoors under these conditions.

When you arrive at MassArt: Please be sure to check in at the Design and Media Center for seating instructions.
If you need assistance on the day: MassArt volunteers wearing "150th Anniversary" green shirts will be stationed around campus and parking locations to answer your questions and help you navigate the day. We are happy to help! You may also call 617-879-7879.
We recommend you leave valuables at home, as we will not be able to provide secure storage. However, for your convenience there will be a coat-check station at the ceremony and a coat room at the community celebration. Thank you for your understanding.
Parking
Unless you have been informed that your parking is elsewhere for the day, parking will be available to you at Roxbury Community College Parking at 294-296 Highland Street, Lot 2 (Access via New Health St. and Centre St. off of Columbus Ave.) and Lot 3 (Access via Centre St.off of Columbus Ave.) Shuttle service to and from the MassArt campus will run continuously from 7:00am to 7:00pm on January 20th.
Rideshare/Drop-off location
If you arrive by Uber/Lyft, please use the following drop-off location: Evans Way
public transportation
If you are traveling to MassArt via the MBTA, you may take the Green Line “E” train and exit at Longwood Medical Area, or take the Orange Line to Ruggles Station. The following bus routes include stops at or near the college: #39, CT2, #65, #8, #47, #66.
