Empowering Students to Make Healthy Financial Decisions
There are many dimensions to wellness, ranging from six to ten areas depending on what sources you read. While you may be familiar with physical or emotional wellness, another equally critical area is financial wellness. Financial wellness plays a large role in your success in college, and it sets the stage for managing your personal finances for the rest of your life.
What are the Signs of Financial Wellness?
- Learning how to manage your money and establishing a personal budget, including savings
- Living within your means
- Learning to not let money be the driving force of your life
- Avoiding credit card debt by paying off your entire card balance each month
- Making a plan to pay back your student loans
