Past Updates

The College has developed specific campus COVID measures needed for the Fall semester, following the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the City of Boston, and will plan and respond accordingly. While subject to developments with COVID variants, we are implementing the safety measures below as we resume access to campus.

Throughout our planning, we have been mindful that each of us has our own level of excitement or anxiety about the Fall semester, and we’ve done our best to think carefully and compassionately about the range of feelings each of us brings to the collective experience.

  1. Ensure that all students, faculty, and staff are safe on campus.

  2. Create adjustment period for students who have not yet had a physical connection to the campus, or their majors or programs.

  3. Identify and adjust to the new remote, hybrid, and face-to-face course loads our students will have, including the need for remote learning that takes place on campus.

The Campus Planning Group received valuable feedback from our student leaders on June 29th, and they helped to inform these planning goals for a phased return to campus.
