Bio: 

For 26 years, Trintje Jansen taught as Associate Professor of Art Education at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Currently, she is Visiting Lecturer through MassArt's Continuing Education program. Before teaching at MassArt, Trintje taught art to children of all ages, primarily in community art settings. Trintje's teaching and her art have always been intertwined. 

Trintje's clay relief paintings have been exhibited at Chase Gallery (Newbury Street, Boston), Field GAllery (Martha's Vineyard), Del Bello Gallery (Toronto), and Russell Gallery (Westport, MA), Lincoln Gallery at Beaver Country Day School, and at MassArt. 

Trintje was awarded the Elizabeth Yeomans Proze from the Westport Art Group, and she participates in the annual South Coast Artists Open Studios by opening her studio in Westport, MA for the weekend event. Trintje's work is represented in private collections in the United States and Canada.
