Trade, a reproduction of slavery era glassware | 2007, Glass

Blown glass, Wood / 72 x 40 x 24

Blown glass that was salvaged from both a vandalized bus shelter in Roxbury, MA and the demolition waste glass from the re-building of the new wing of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.

The glass pieces themselves represent specific types of glassware that would have been created in England and America during the era of slavery.
