Life can be found in unexpected places: underneath rocks, between boards of wood, in nooks that are overlooked. Thingies, are flower-worm-like creatures that pop up on architecture. They seek unique spatial features- like this cantilevered wall- to take root and multiply. Breeding, and the ambiguity of gender are inherent in their form. They are more joyful than sinister, more playful than aggressive. This installation is meant to evoke curiosity, not only about the object, but the space they inhabit.
