Kite
From the Series "Flightless Animal"
"The subject of my senior thesis was the ethos of human flight. The purpose of this was to ask questions about how this idea, a universal and very human urge to see things from new perspectives, changed over time since its beginning, when people could only dream of flying. As the dream got progressively closer to our contemporary airport reality, people grappled with kites, God, and birds to fly. My research turned this project into a five-part narrative on this slow journey we have all collectively been a part of."
