A Used Car (Trailer)
A tasteful mix of oral history and video portrait, A Used Car attempts to create an oral history of a Volvo P1800. While exploring the ideas of ownership, sentimentality, and connection the film takes a few winding turns.
Constant Function: 1994
With the Constant Function series I wanted to give prominence to the actions of the everyday by creating my own slow motion cinematic moments with my body instead of with a camera or a computer. My body is the catalyst for the sedentary action. My subdued movements parody that of technological slow motion but they do not match it because inevitably the body fails to comply with the perfection of mechanically interfered speed. With each of the soundtracks taken from actual live news coverage, there is a period of waiting, anticipation and a feeling of the unknown.

Ghost of Sara
Once upon a time there lived an unhappy young girl.
She lived in a tiny room without lights like a nocturnal animal, and the only place she knew was there.
She never had doubts or inquiries because she didn’t even know if she was content enough there.
She was not allowed to leave the room. Besides, she didn’t know if she wanted to move to another place.
She only knew that part of what she desired to do is:
“To be the cutest girl in the world.”
Although she didn’t know any other girls, she knew her pretty and ugly dolls.
