Students from the Art Institutes

MassArt welcomes transfer applications from students who attended the recently closed Art Institutes system of schools which include:

  • Miami International University of Art & Design
  • The Art Institute of Atlanta
  • The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston
  • The Art Institute of Dallas, a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design
  • The Art Institute of Houston
  • The Art Institute of San Antonio, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston
  • The Art Institute of Tampa, a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design
  • The Art Institute of Virginia Beach, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta

Applications to MassArt are currently open for Spring and Fall 2024.

Applicants will be granted an application fee waiver to MassArt; please select "MassArt fee waiver" at the payment screen before submitting your Common Application. The required letter of recommendation will also be waived.

Please note students are required to earn a minimum of 60 credits at MassArt in order to earn a BFA degree. Learn more about MassArt's transfer credit guidelines.
