2D Fine Arts Lecture Series: Visiting Artist - Lavaughan Jenkins '05 BFA Painting

The MassArt Department of 2D Fine Arts is pleased to welcome Alumnus Lavaughan Jenkins as the first speaker of their Fall '19 Visiting Artist Lecture Series.

Lavaughan Jenkins is a painter, printmaker and sculptor and has recently shown at Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, the Fitchburg art museum, Craig Krull Gallery and Galerie C.O.A. In 2016 he became the Emerging Artist at Kingston Gallery in Boston, MA. He holds a BFA from the Massachusetts College Of Art And Design. Jenkins is a recipient of the 2015 Blanche E. Colman Award and the Rob Moore Grant in Painting, and most recent is the 2019 James and Audrey Foster Prize. Lavaughan Jenkins was raised in Pensacola, Florida and currently creates his work in Boston, MA
